Mold structure

(1) Cavity and core

Cavity: Determine the appearance of the battery holder, and its design and processing should ensure the surface quality and ensure that it is consistent with the design.

Core: Shape the internal structure of the battery holder, which has a large impact on the battery installation and electrical connection, and requires high precision.

(2) Pouring system

Main channel: Determine parameters according to injection molding machine specifications and plastic flow to ensure smooth plastic into the mold.

Diverter: Distributes plastic to the gate and is designed to reduce pressure and temperature variations.

Gate: Select the type and size according to the battery holder structure and plastic characteristics, which affects the plastic filling quality.

(3) Cooling system

Cooling channel: The cooling medium is circulated in the mold to take away the heat, and the layout is determined according to the shape and wall thickness of the battery holder to prevent deformation.

Cooling effect: Reasonable cooling can improve production efficiency and quality, and protect the mold.

(4) ejector system

Ejection mode: push-rod and push-plate ejection to ensure smooth ejection.

Ejection design: reasonable arrangement for complex battery holder to avoid damage.

Mold design points

(1) Precision requirements

The mold precision is high, the cavity and core tolerance is controlled within ±0.05mm, and the key parts are stricter to ensure the cooperation between the battery holder and the battery.

(2) Material selection

Commonly used P20, H13 steel, P20 processing is good, H13 is suitable for high pressure and temperature changes in the mold, the material affects the mold life and product quality.

(3) Stripping design

Aiming at the demoulding mechanism for the battery holder complex structure, such as inclined top and slide block, the design should consider matching with the mold, smooth demoulding, durable and easy maintenance.
